Director Forum is a monthly discussion event for Directors & Assistant Directors of Disability Services & Access departments where we meet, network, and problem solve together. Think of it as a support group - people who you’ll be able to trust, learn from, and meet with regularly to seek creative approaches to your problems.
At our September meeting, we’ll be discussing the difficulties caused by Covid in the first few weeks of the semester and how you might approach solving them. Have you had difficulties with faculty not providing accessible materials for hybrid classes? Have your students been struggling with the return to campus? Maybe you’ve seen an increase in housing accommodation requests from students with health issues?
Bring your challenge to the meeting and discuss it with your peers. Director Forum is all about sharing, listening, and learning together. Come ready to ask for help and share your experiences.
