Northwestern University previously relied heavily on traditional peer notetaking accommodations but found that they were faced with a common problem year-on-year.

The notes were only as good as the person taking the notes and students were often left restricted and not fully in charge of their own learning.

They needed a solution that promoted independent learning.

We’re joined by AT Director, Jim Stachowiak from Northwestern University, an advocate for Universal Design for Learning (UDL) on campus in our next Glean webinar.

During the webinar, we will discuss the problems of peer notetaking and why independent note taking is being championed by Jim and Northwestern University.

Secure your place and discover how independent note taking accommodations can help to support learners to achieve academic success.

Glean’s purpose is simple: make learning from class more accessible, effective and easy. Glean helps students to take notes independently, which as we’ve seen has been linked to student achievement.
