Remote vs In-person learning - providing note taking support in different learning environments

In-person, online, hybrid, asynchronous - learning in higher education is now happening in many different modalities. Learners have had to adapt to different learning environments over the past 18 months, and this has been a challenge both for students and disability services - especially with an increased caseload seen by many departments at the beginning of this semester.

“How do we support students well across different environments?” - that’s the question on the minds of disability services departments this Fall. Providing note taking support for students learning both online and in-person is a more complex issue - but the importance of note taking for learning has not changed.

In this free webinar, we’ll be joined by a panel of disability support professionals to discuss providing note taking support in different learning environments, the importance of independent note taking for learning, and how certain accommodations offer better outcomes for both support staff and students.
