We’re on the look out for an experienced software Sales Manager, who can set up our sales team to excel. Leading and growing our sales team, you’ll play a critical role in accelerating our growth in North America. Could this be you?

The role of the Sales Manager in our next phase of growth

We’re already on track to grow our North American sales by over 50% this year. We're on a strong trajectory, but we want to achieve more. Our Sales Manager is soon to be away on maternity leave, and we’re looking for someone who can steer the ship, while bringing new perspective and skills to the team. 

As Sales Manager you would be responsible for managing and developing the team, devising our sales strategy, and optimising our sales playbook to get the best possible results. You’d be responsible for accelerating the acquisition of new customers, as well as upsales to existing customers. 

Your core areas of accountability are:

  • Strategies for customer acquisition: Identifying and driving sales strategies which accelerate our rate of customer acquisition, working closely with marketing and product
  • Driving customer selling efficacy: Working closely with customer success to unlock additional value for our customers, and increasing the uptake of premium packages 
  • Optimising our playbook: Analysing our performance and identifying where we could improve our sales playbook and implementing changes for positive impact 
  • Building and developing our sales team: Providing training, coaching and career development for our sales team as well as identifying any needed capacity growth in the team to deliver on our objectives. 
  • Driving performance: Managing and maintaining our sales activities to ensure delivery on our targets, as well as reporting on performance, market trends and customer feedback.

About you 

  • You’ll be a confident and skilled communicator and negotiator, able to interact with prospects, customers and partners alike 
  • An exceptional sales person, with the ability to teach others and develop best practice ways of selling 
  • An interest in developing others, a track record of building teams and helping team members to reach their potential 
  • Previous experience in a software sales role
