Glean are looking for a motivated and talented Sales Executive to join our growing Sales Team, to focus on outbound prospecting, lead qualification and consultative selling, in order to drive our customer acquisition efforts. Generating new opportunities by working closely and collaboratively with the Account Executives and the Marketing team, the Sales Executive will have direct ownership of lead qualification and call activities, becoming an expert in our note-taking solutions, with the overall aim of fully supporting our higher education prospects on their journey to transform how they support students.
As a Sales Executive, you are the starting point for all future conversations with our potential customers, and are therefore a vital ambassador of Glean. As a result, we are looking for an individual with a positive attitude that can excel at researching and engaging with leads to continue to accelerate our growth.
Outbound engagement with prospects via calls and emails to generate new leads and sales opportunities.
Nurturing, educating and developing prospects before handing over to the wider commercial team to close.
Working with the Sales Manager and the Account Executives to identify ongoing strategic targets.
Maintaining all contacts/opportunities and tracking all progress on the CRM.
Identifying best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.
Become an expert in our note-taking solutions and the value they provide for our higher education customers, keeping up-to-date on the latest industry trends and case studies to engage with our prospective customers.
1+ year of telephone based experience
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
Self-motivated with a diligent work ethic and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with CRM applications would be preferable
Any experience working in Edtech would be desirable but not essential
